Kiddush D'var Torah
In honour of the parsha this week, Sholom will reveal new discoveries in the history of the "Inverted Nuns" after kiddush.
Shul Executive Meeting
There will be a meeting of the shul executive and any interested members sometime in June. The topics to be discussed will include: children's programming, elections for the Mizrachi Bayit executive and shul plans for the summer. The date has yet to be determined. All members are welcome to attend.

The following events will be happening in the coming days and weeks:
Beit Halochem Canada:
Celebration of Life brings energy, enthusiasm, and excitement to the stage, showcasing Israeli musical talent and heroic stories of strength, determination, and triumph.
We will be honouring four remarkable heroes, direct from Israel:
Ron Abadan, a member of the Kfir Infantry Brigade, was critically injured in the summer of 2016.
Captain Ran Ben Atia was an Operations Officer in the Nahal Brigade during Operation Protective Edge.
Itzik Dadoush served during the Yom Kippur War and has been honoured twice by the Israel Ministry of Defence.
Haim Lev Tov served in the Paratroopers Elite Commando Unit and was severely wounded in Operation Protective Edge
Our musical performers include:
- Hananel Edri has performed in musicals, the Israel Song Festival, and as part of the Israeli delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest.
- Osnat Harel is a singer/songwriter with a variety of bands and a composer for Israeli and international productions.
- Alon Radai is an accomplished composer, keyboardist, and musical producer in a diverse range of musical styles, including jazz, rock, reggae, pop, and R&B.
