Bingo Thanks
Thank you to Ira Walfish and Phil Chudnofsky for handling the bingo, which is integral to the fiscal soundness of the Mizrachi Bayit. Phil has been attending the Bingo AGM on our behalf for many years.


Yom Yerushalayim
Yom Yerushalayim is Tuesday night and Wednesday.  On Wednesday morning, Jerrold will be conducting a Yom Yerushalayim Shacharit service at the TVA daily minyan, 6:45 a.m.

 

Shavuot Potluck Lunch
There will be a dairy, potluck lunch at the Lightstone's home on the second day of Shavuot following davening.  Please bring a pareve or dairy contribution to lunch- large salad, main course, dessert... whatever you want. The food must be nut free and can be home-made. The shul will provide bread and beverages.

Kiddush
The kiddush this shabbat will be sponsored by Rabbi Aaron and Shira Katchen and family for the following events that happen in Iyar: The first yahrtzeit of Rabbi Katchen's grandfather, Ruby Honickman - Reuven ben Chaim Ze'ev (9 Iyar), Akiva's birthday (17 Iyar),  their anniversary (23 Iyar), and Shira's birthday (24 Iyar).

Upcoming Events  
The following events will be happening in the coming days and weeks:
 

 

Peace of Mind is dedicated to facilitating emotional and psychological support for discharged IDF elite combat soldiers who have undergone difficult battle situations. Units of approximately 15-20 young men participate in the POM program in Canada for one week of intensive group therapy and bonding with the Jewish community. This unique 9-month long process includes orientation and concluding sessions in Israel, 3-month interval follow-up sessions and individualized therapy for those who require further interventions.
