Holiday Schedule
Please see our shul's holiday schedule, which may be downloaded here. It's in a nifty PDF format that you can easily print and hang up on your fridge! (Just be sure to recycle it later.)

Membership is Due
It's that time of year again! We have been holding the line on costs so membership is still just $250 for a single person and $500 for a family. If this is difficult for anyone, please talk to Jerrold Landau for a discount. Dues can be paid by cheque made out to Mizrachi Bayit and given to Morty, or online through Canada Helps.

Selichot Services
Selichot services will be taking place on Saturday, September 16. We will have a joint service with the Ulpana minyan at the Ulpana on Canyon Ave. at midnight. Rabbi Katchen will give a pre-Selichot shiur at 11:30 pm and Jerrold will conduct Selichot at midnight.

Lulavim and Etrogim
Sukkot is just around the corner. Paul Rotenberg will again offer Lulavim and Etrogim for anyone who would like. Prices will be consistent with last year’s prices, type C - Good, B - Better, and A - Best, as usual. Please contact Paul with your order at  paul@rotenbergs.com.

Sukkah Hop
Please join us for the annual Mizrachi Bayit sukkah hop! Fun, games, snacks and sukkahs! Sunday October 8th at 2pm (rain date October 9th). Please RSVP to karma_gordon@yahoo.com if you'd like to join the hop or are interested in hosting in your sukkah.

Kids' Program Needs Your Help
Please talk to your teenagers about considering becoming a part-time leader of the Mizrachi Bayit kids program. Get paid to help out on an occasional basis! Perfect for busy teens. Contact karma_gordon@yahoo.com for more information.

Kiddush This Week
Kiddush this week is sponsored by the Mizrachi Bayit. We're always happy to have someone sponsor a kiddush. If you would like to sponsor a kiddush, please contact Les Lightsone or the shul.
