Last Shabbat
This will be the last Shabbat davening for our shul at 296 Wilson. Please come and say goodbye to our main sanctuary and facilities. Stay tuned for confirmation of where we will be davening on May 17-18.

Volunteers Needed for Sifrei Torah
We need some volunteers to move and store the sefer torahs during the move.  They need to be moved out Saturday night or very early Sunday morning.  They would then need to be delivered back to the shul Thursday or Friday.

The Torah needs to be wrapped in a tallit to be brought outside of the building. Ideally, any kosher sefer Torah that is being transported needs to be escorted by someone besides the person carrying it.  There is no issue about putting a Torah in a trunk, it just needs to be secure.

When storing a sefer Torah at someone's house, it needs to be wrapped in a tallit at all times.  All activities need to be kavodik in the room that the Torah is being kept in (i.e. it should not be a playroom, no kitty litter, nor a room where people sleep or put their feet up, etc).

Special Kiddush
Kiddush this week is sponsored by Morty Shapiro in honour of Yom Haatzmaut.
