Last Week of Family Learning (until January)

Beit Tzion invites the community to join us for family learning Motzei Shabbat (Saturday nights) from 6:30-7:15 - early enough to still go skating! Bring a sefer, Torah homework, or use one of our sefarim, or prepared source sheets to learn with. Pizza and snacks served at the end. This is the last time that this program will take place until January. Please stay tuned for updated times in another week or two.

Liberation75

Liberation75: The Global Gathering of Holocaust Survivors, Descendants, Educators and Friends, is a once-in-a-lifetime event which will be held in Toronto from May 31-June 2, 2020, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of liberation from the Holocaust.

Liberation75 will focus on remembering the victims, honouring the survivors, showcasing the future of Holocaust education, reflecting on antisemitism in the world, celebrating the role of the liberators, and committing to protecting freedom, diversity, human rights and inclusion. We anticipate thousands of attendees from around the world.

Liberation75 is partnering with over 85 global organizations to showcase best-in-class Holocaust and anti-genocide education, awareness and remembrance, including interactive exhibits, presentations, panel discussions, films, artistic representations, music and more. All programming will focus on keeping the Holocaust relevant for future generations.

Registration opens on September 10, 2019 and we need your help spreading the word across your communities. We kindly ask that you include the attached graphic in your High Holiday newsletters this year to help raise awareness about our event with your members.

If you have any questions or want to become even more involved with Liberation75, please contact taylor@redstoneagency.ca or check out their website.
