Yom Yerushalyim
Saturday NIGHT May 16th - for Maariv - Jerrold will conduct a Yom Yerushalayim service. We will start 5 minutes before maariv's usual start and will only take an extra 10 minutes or so. Everyone (women too) is invited.
On Yom Yerushalayim morning, Sunday May 17th - there will be a Yom Yerushalayim shacharit service at Torah V'Avodah (stay tuned for time - either 8 or 8:15am)

Jewish Music Week in Toronto is an exciting week of concerts, recitals and musical events throughout the GTA. 2015 marks the fifth year of this festival that celebrates Jewish music, as well as the Jewish contribution to genres of music not generally thought of as Jewish. Our programs include Sephardic and Klezmer, Holocaust music and Israeli pop, Broadway and Hollywood, Chassidic Nigunim and Yiddish Theatre, Jazz and Big Band, Cantorial, folk, gospel and more!Jewish Music Week in Toronto is jointly hosted by many Toronto organizations for the benefit of the entire community. All daytime events are free, and most of the Gala Evening Concerts benefit Toronto synagogues or local charities. With performances all over town, you won't have to travel far to enjoy a spectacular musical event.Join us -- as a volunteer, a donor or a member of our audience.
