Announcements

JFCS Shabbaton

Mizrachi Bayit is joining with Clanton Park Synagogue and Or Chaim in raising awareness of the services that Jewish Family and Child Services provide to our community.

Shabbat Morning, Parshat Toldot (November 14), we will have Hadassah Rais, a JFCS Foster Parent, speak to us during kiddush about her experiences.

Saturday night at 7:30 PM, there will be a panel discussion at the home of Debbie Kurtz (110 Laurelcrest Avenue).

The participants will be Janice Shaw (Direct Service Manager), Rabbi Ronald Weiss (Director, Chaplaincy Services), and Pam Ross (Social worker and Staff resource for Foster Parents). There will be a Q&A following the panel discussion.

Please see flyer below.

Chanukah Play

The kids will be practicing for the Chanukah play during the Kids' Program for the next few weeks leading up to the performance at the Mizrachi Bayit Chanukah Party on Thursday December 10.  The performance will be a combination of songs, movements, and talking parts.  All ages welcome.  If your kids would like to participate please bring them to shul so that they can practice.  Please also stay tuned for an announcement about a Costume Making Shindig on a non-Shabbat day ahead of time.  If you have any questions, please email Saul at saulmelamed@yahoo.com.
